Red wines, unique, full-bodied, round...
Red wine is a wine made from blue grapes. In addition to the type of grapes used, it also differs in the production process of white wine or rosé wine. A red wine is produced by maceration or digestion. In addition to the alcoholic fermentation of the colorless juice of the berry, certain components are dissolved out of the solid components of the mash. The solid components of berry mash are composed of the shell of the berries, the seeds and possibly the stem of the grape (which botanically correct is a panicle) together. In the classical manufacturing process, the dissolution of the desired components takes place during the maceration, the duration of which can be determined individually. Another method relies on the mash heating before fermentation.
